Jeffrey Aoki, MD, FAAFP

Residency: Ventura/UCLA County Medical Center
Family medicine allows the opportunity for patient, families, and provider to form a unique relationship.
Dr. Aoki believes that the health and care of a patient should be a joint decision with the patient having an active role in their care.
Dr. Aoki has two grown daughters, Lauren and Stephanie, and two grandchildren
Robert Castillo, MD

Residency: San Bernardino County Medical Center
Dr. Castillo’s philosophy is to provide compassion, sensitivity and empathy while providing excellent patient care.

Dr. Castillo and his wife Rhonda have two grown children and three grandchildren. Dr. Castillo is a faithful Christian with a Catholic background and enjoys basketball, tennis, and nearly every endeavor that will take him outdoors.
George Gonzalez, MD

Dr. Gonzalez believes in caring for the whole person. He strives for excellence by providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
He’s been married for over 30 years and has four adult children. During his free time he takes frequent, domestic, and international mission trips. He also enjoys running, playing golf and tennis.
Harjagjit Maan, MD

Dr. Maan believes in preventative medicine and educating his patients on their condition.
Dr. Maan is married and has two children. He enjoys World War II history.
John C. Monteleone, MD

Dr. Monteleone’s life mission has always been to enjoy what he does, share his enthusiasm for medicine, inspire others, build friendships, strengthen relationships, learn new information and skills, care with compassion, and protect and safeguard the health and lives of his patients and community.
Dr. Monteleone, a native of Southern California, moved to Fresno in 1981 to begin his residency program.
Dr. Monteleone is married to his wife Lisa and together they have three adult children.
Judy Miramontes, MD

Dr. Miramontes is a firm believer in early intervention, prevention and health education. She works with her patients to develop a trusting relationship between patient and doctor.
Dr. Miramontes has a large family and enjoys spending time with them, including her animals at home. She likes to travel to the coast and enjoys music and reading.
Dennis Nakata, MD

Dr. Nakata has been in private practice since 1979. He joined Peachwood Medical Group in 1995.
He has a special interest in family medicine and preventative healthcare to maintain the highest level of functioning and independence.

Dr. Reimer finds meaning in helping people with the medical and life challenges they face, in a one-on-one personal and compassionate style.
Dr. Reimer applies the most up to date medical concepts and treatment available today.
Dr. Reimer is married and is a father of four. Dr. Reimer is actively involved in his children’s school as well as their sport activities.
He enjoys his church involvement, photography, astronomy, and cosmology.
Dr. Quintana Van Horne, MD

Dr. Quintana-Van Horne has two young children. In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, and spending as much free time as possible with her friends and family.
Marguerite Smith, MD

Dr. Smith was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She moved to California in 2000. She is active in her church and enjoys running and tennis.

Joy is a family nurse practitioner who is passionate about women’s health, but loves the variety of family practice.
Her goal is to provide compassionate care and encourage prevention strategies so that patients can achieve their peak health.
Personal interests include biking, swimming, backpacking, traveling and spending time with her family.
